Easy Start Method

  1. APPLY FIRE STARTER
    to the bottom of a cleaned smoker.
  2. IGNITE AND ADD OXYGEN
    Use the Lighter to ignite fire starter and putt the bellow.
  3. ADD B.CALM
    Add a single handful of B.Calm, and let it burn for 1-2 minutes, applying oxygen. Then add another handful or two while continuing to squeeze the smoker bellow.
  4. STOKE THE SMOKER
    Once a steady heat source is established and a tinted green smoke is present, continue to stoke the smoker with the bellow. Add more B.Calm as desired for the amount of smoke and time spent in the yard.

What You Need

  • Easy Fire Start Material or kindling: 1/1.5 tbsp. of Sterno or gel hand sanitizer.
  • An ignitor: either a match or stick lighter
  • B.Calm Smoker Fuel
  • Smoker

Directions

  1. IGNITE KINDLING IN SMOKER
    Use a handful of easy start material as kindling, crumpled newspaper, ripped up cardboard, dry grass, pine needles, etc. Place at the bottom of the smoker and ignite until it is burning on its own. Use the bellow to stoke the flames.
  2. ADD ADDITIONAL KINDLING
    Add another handful of the well-burning material, and once burning, use a hive tool to push down towards the bottom of the smoker.
  3. REPEAT THE PROCESS
    Repeat 1 or 2 more times to get a strong-hot solid base.
  4. ADD B.CALM
    Place a single handful of B.Calm on top of the burning fuel and squeeze the bellow to help ignite B.Calm.
  5. STOKE THE SMOKE
    Once you see a mix of the tinted green smoke, continue to stoke the smoker with the bellow and add more Bee Calm as desired for the amount of smoke and time spent in the yard.
