Joh. Barth & Sohn GmbH, Nuremberg, founded in 1794. The company is the market leader in hop trading and processing in Germany. Joh. Barth & Sohn accounts for 50 percent of the Barth-Haas Group’s total turnover of 150 million euros. While the business activities of Joh. Barth & Sohn were originally focused exclusively on hop trading, since the 1960s hop processing has become the company’s second main activity.
